Current Performance

The DBTuna Current Performance View displays current database performance metrics including:
  • SQL Server Memory Usage Information
  • Resource Consumption and Waits for last 5 minutes
  • Details on all currently connected database client sessions

Historical Performance

The DBTuna Activitiy View is the main view within DBTuna where historical database activity and performance information is displayed; including:
  • Time series activity graphs showing SQL Server resource consumption versus number of completed database queries.
  • Completely configurable views, from last 5 minutes to last 30 days.
  • Breakdown of activity by Wait state
  • Correlated drilldown by Server, Client, SQL, Grouped SQL, User, Program, Session, Database

SQL Server Statistics

The DBTuna Statistics View displays historical statistical information on your SQL Server database:
  • Report and analyze any statistic available from SQL Server
  • Display Delta Graph's over-time

SQL Drilldown

Once poorly performing SQL has been identified by DBTuna the DBA can drill into the SQL View to display details of the statement and explain plan:
  • One click statement analysis shows the SQL Server Explain plan to quickly see if it has the optimum access path.
  • Display wait states for SQL.
  • Parses the SQL to make it easier to read.
  • N.B. For SQL Batches, DBTuna will display the time and wait events for each individual part of the batch.

Objects View

The DBTuna Objects View displays all the current SQL Server configuration parameters from any monitored database, as well as databases, tables and objects:
  • One-click view to check or cross reference Database config values.
  • Switch between monitored databases to compare config values.
  • Quickly view information on tables and indexes.
